“I got the information through the radio, that the centre offered ICT training free of charge.
I Immediately reported at the centre, where I was trained for three months. I used the skills to apply for a job in Kenya where I am working up to date.”
“When the FADECO team came to our school to introduce an ICT program undertaken by the centre, I personally became interested. Our school had one idle computer because of no one had the knowledge to use it. I am glad that now I can use the same computer for my work.
“I am working at the FADECO farm for about two years now. I have gotten involved in many activities at the farm including pre-season, planting, harvesting and post-harvesting. Due to this, I save some money to support my family back home in Ngara village. Apart farm work, I have the chance to learn computer every after work at a no cost. This is opening me up to hopes of later using the computer to do marketing of my own farm produce.”
